Michael Heaphy to Speak to Gr. 7 & 8 Students at St. John Catholic School

January 19, 2006 - On Wednesday, Jan. 25 Gr. 7 & 8 students at St. John will have a presentation on drug and alcohol abuse. The video "On Thin Ice" will be followed by a lecture by Mr. Michael Heaphy. A reformed alcoholic, Mr. Heaphy speaks about how easy it is to become addicted, the consequences it has on family life, and the struggle to reform. It is a very powerful presentation for all. Parents are invited to attend.
