St. Anne Food Drive, A Huge Success!

Mr. Martin 'before and after': Mr. Martin shaved his head in support of his students' efforts in the St. Anne food drive. January 3, 2006 - Congratulations to St. Anne Catholic School on their extremely successful food drive before the holidays. The drive was spearheaded by Grade 5 teacher, Mr. Michael Cayen, and saw over 7,000 food items collected. All items were donated to the Knights of Columbus in Hanmer Mr. David Martin's class not only met, but surpassed his challenge. As a result, Mr. Martin agreed to shave his head. Grade 7 and 8 students looked on eagerly and actively participated in the head shaving. Hanmer families will benefit from the generous spirit of students, their families and others who have donated time, food and money to the St. Anne Catholic School Food Drive. Share Tweet
