Parents of French Immersion or Core French Student, FSL Teacher and FI or Core French Students grades 4 to 12, please take a few minutes to answer the short survey that applies to you. Each survey is approximately 5 minutes or less. The survey links will be open until November 30th.
FSL Student Survey:
Sudbury Catholic District School Board has made French As a Second Language (FSL) a priority and is committed to continue improving these programs in your school. As a student enrolled in the Core French or French Immersion program we need your valued input. With your help, we will work on finding ways to improve our programs with a focus on increasing student confidence and engagement as well as supporting you as student.

FSL Teacher Survey :
SCDSB has made FSL a priority, we are committed to continue to improve both the Core French and French Immersion programs. The Ministry has set 3 goals for FSL which we must support, action and measure as a board by also creating our own goals. In order to measure the impact of our work in reaching the goals, your input is needed. Please take a few minutes to complete a few questions that will help support teachers and the FSL programs in our schools.
Provincial Goals for FSL:
• Increase student confidence, proficiency and achievement in FSL
Board Goal: 1) modelling the use of French in the classroom 2) using the CEFR for self-assessment with students
• Increase percentage of students studying FSL until graduation
Board Goal: decrease transfers and exemptions from FSL programs
• Increase student, educator, parent and community engagement in FSL
Board Goal: increase support for educators, parents and administrators.
