St. Francis receives visit from Trillium!

June 15, 2018 - Jennifer Hearn, from Resource Services Trillium Demonstration School in Milton, Ontario, visited St. Francis School on June 13, 2018. An overview of executive function skills was provided in relation to students with a learning disability. The classroom implications of a child’s developing executive function skills were outlined in the presentation. Methods to support and develop these skills were also investigated further. The school’s resource teacher, Ms. G. Visentin, was pleased to have the opportunity to have a teacher from the Trillium Demonstration School in Milton, Ontario visit and share her knowledge with staff who are directly involved with students who learn differently.
