Sudbury Catholic Schools participate in exciting coding workshop!

photo

February 1, 2018 - Many of our schools had the opportunity to participate in coding workshops this week with university instructor, keynote speaker and bestselling author Brian Aspinall! Grades 4/5 students and 7/8 students and teachers came together as they co-learned about the link between computational thinking and problem solving in math through coding.

Brian Aspinall provided a hands on workshop for the students and teachers to engage in and even provided ways to fit the training into classroom curriculum!

"The workshop was amazing! I'm watching the students become immersed in learning, while I make connections to the curriculum at the same time!" Amanda, St. Francis.
