January 19, 2018 - At Pius XII every Tuesday is a Tasty one! Throughout the year our students are provided a nutritious fruit and vegetable snack on Tasty Tuesdays. Thanks to organizations like Sudbury Better Beginnings Better Futures and the Ministry of Health’s Northern Fruit and Vegetable Program, we receive funding that goes toward purchasing fruit, vegetables, grains or dairy. Nutritious snacks are available everyday at our school, however Tuesdays are the special day of the week where students get to sample a fruit or vegetable that might be new to them. This nutrition program brings staff and parents together to make it successful for our school community.
