Students spread joy and cheer with cards to celebrate Advent!

photo

December 18, 2017 - Throughout this Advent season, students in Ms. Loranger’s Grade 5/6 at Pius XII School have been focusing on the various themes celebrated each week. For the third week of Advent which focuses on the the theme of joy, students participated in a discussion on the things that bring joy to their life and how we can bring joy to others. As an extension to this discussion, students including those in the photo (Billy, Brandon and Chloe) created Christmas cards to give to others outside our school community. The cards will be delivered to residents at Finlandia to spread a little joy and cheer during this holiday season.
