Junior Girls at Immaculate Feel Empowered

June 13, 2017 - Constable/Author Halley Willmott came to speak to the grade 5 and 6 girls about feeling empowered. Constable Willmott shared her personal journey while growing up and how she struggled to fit socially since she moved from school to school. As a result of that, Constable Willmott said that she found a love for reading and writing which led her to becoming a published author on top of being a police officer. Her message to the girls was that they all have gifts, talents and interests that they should embrace and that they are all valued and unique individuals. Share Tweet
