Bishop Alexander Carter students help clean-up the community for Catholic Education Week

photo

May 4, 2017 - On May 3rd, 2017, students at B.A.C.C.S.S. participated in a neighbourhood clean-up. Stewardship of the environment is a very important Catholic Social Teaching which it is re-enforced every year during Catholic Education Week. The students had fun bonding with friends, while enjoying some fresh air and exercise. The neighbourhood clean-up not only provides an opportunity to strengthen community relations, but instills a sense of pride and ownership in the students with regard to environmental responsibiity. Dozens of garbage bags were filled and a good time was had by all!
