photo

May 2, 2017 - St. Benedict Catholic Elementary School Grade 7 & 8 students were recognized for completing a six week Well-being and Leadership Program: Power To Be Positive. The program was offered by St. Benedict staff and the Sudbury & District Health Unit. Students engaged in learning about growth mindset, positive self-talk and attitudes. The students focused on resilience and productive ways to manage stress and anxiety. Students also reflected on their own strengths and used this awareness to help to develop leadership skills.
