February 20, 2013 -
For the third year in a row, the Ontario Elementary Catholic Teachers Association (O.E.C.T.A.) in Sudbury put together a day of fun for its members and their families over the Family Day weekend. Over 100 teachers and their families joined the festivities to celebrate Family Day at J & J Ranch in Hanmer. The four hour celebration included: crafts, skating, sliding, sleigh rides, a games room, horse-back riding & a petting zoo. Christina Raso, the Special Education Consultant for the Sudbury Catholic Board and Secretary for the O.E.C.T.A. local union brought her son out to take part in the day's events. "What a great day to celebrate family, friends and co-workers," Raso said. " It is a great environment for O.E.C.T.A. members to relax and have some fun together with our families. Each year it gets bigger and better and more and more come out for the fun. "
