Pius XII Celebrates Family Literacy Day

Pius XII Catholic Elementary School students, Kyle and Kayla Nyereyemhuka welcome Mom into the classroom to celebrate Family Literacy Day.

January 28, 2013 - Pius XII Catholic Elementary School celebrated Family Literacy Day, a national awareness initiative created by ABC Life Literacy Canada in 1999 and held annually on January 27th to raise awareness fo the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family. The theme this year is '15 Minutes of Fun'. Pius XII welcomed parents, aunts/uncles and grandparents to come and have '15 Minutes of Fun' with their child(ren).
