Sudbury Catholic Board Approves Contracts With Unions

November 24, 2008 - Trustees for the Sudbury Catholic District School Board have approved contract renewals with all four of the Board’s unionized sectors. The contract agreements for the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association (OECTA), Elementary, Secondary and Occasional as well as CUPE Local 1369 have also been ratified by their respective union memberships. All four sectors will see raises of 3 percent in each year of the four year contracts for a total of 12 percent overall. The salary increases are retroactive to September 1, 2008. Board and Union representatives are extremely pleased with the contract ratifications as it will “ensure peace and stability at the Sudbury Catholic District School Board and its schools for the next four years.” Share Tweet
