There’s a lot of Heart at St. Raphael Catholic School!

Mrs. Dabous thanked the students, staff and the St. Raphael Catholic School community for the donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. St. Raphael students will receive “Heart Smart Points” for their efforts which they can use to purchase items at select stores in the City of Greater Sudbury.

May 12, 2008 - St. Raphael Catholic School held a Jump Rope for Heart at the school last Tuesday to help celebrate Catholic Education Week. The students solicited pledges and raised an amazing $12,320 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. During this year’s event, four St. Raphael students had a combined total of more than $1,500 with Sheldon O'Brien bringing in the most pledges at $610 followed closely by Ben Cortolezzis, ($351), Carter Prince, ($295) and Kiera LeBreton ($275).

Many thanks to the students, parents, staff and the St. Raphael Catholic School community for their tremendous support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
