Catherine McCullough, Director of Education for the Sudbury Catholic District School Board joins Big Daddy Radio, Morning Show host, Dave Mayes “live-on-air” from a City of Greater Sudbury transit bus at St. Charles College. Mrs. McCullough congratulated the students, staff and parents of St. Charles College and the entire Sudbury Community for undertaking such an important endeavour as they work their way toward the magic number of 25,000 cans of food. The Director also thanked Bell and Big Daddy Radio for all their support in helping to make the food drive such a huge success. |

St. Charles College will be hosting a “wrap up party celebrating the end of their 25,000 Can Food Drive” to assist the City of Greater Sudbury’s Food Kitchens on Friday, October 19 at 8:20 a.m. in the school’s gymnasium located at 1940 Hawthorne Drive, Sudbury. In partnership with Bell and Big Daddy students collected over 43,000 items.
Representatives from Bell who have partnered with St. Charles College and Big Daddy Radio will be on hand to congratulate the students, staff and the citizens of Greater Sudbury in helping to put the “food drive over the top.”
Dave Mayes, Big Daddy Radio Morning Show host has been on a City of Greater Sudbury Transit Bus since Tuesday morning, vowing not to come off the bus until the school reaches its target of 25,000 cans of food.
The City of Greater Sudbury has really “come on board” in supporting this very worthwhile event and it appears that the goal will be reached by Friday morning and Dave Mayes can finally get off the bus!
