Bishop Carter Catholic Secondary School students attended a Girl's Against the Boy's Hockey Game at the Centennial arena in Hanmer as a fundraiser for the school’s athletic department recently.
Students from Bishop Carter’s feeder schools as well as a number of Sudbury Wolves players also participated in the event. The highlight of the evening took place when the students from the feeder schools were actually given the opportunity to play in the game.
It was a highly spirited and eventful day for many Bishop Carter Catholic Secondary School students and staff in the area of Valley East. All of the Bishop Carter athletes were appreciated and given honourable mention. The well planned event also gave Grade 8 students the opportunity to see what high school life can be like.
