St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School Presents 'An Inconvenient Truth'

November 13, 2006 - In the hope of raising greater awareness of Global Warming, St. Benedict Catholic Secondary students currently enroled in science courses and those involved with the environmental club have been invited to a private showing of Al Gore’s recent documentary: An Inconvenient Truth. The film focuses on the effect of climate change and will allow high school students to become educated re the climate crisis that will pose a formidable problem for their generation. The screening of an Inconvenient Truth will take place at the Rainbow Cinemas, 40 Elm Street, Sudbury, on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. This event has been sponsored by Canadian Injury Management Services and busing for the school’s students has been provided by the Rotary Club.
